China’s large agricultural inputs distributor Guangdong Tianhe Agricultural Means of Production Co., Ltd and BASF (China) Co., Ltd signed a five-year agreement for distribution of the new product Priaxor, on October 27.
Priaxor is a brand-new patented mixture of pyraclostrobin and the new generation SDHI xemium, which is effective in the prevention and control of various fungal diseases existing in numerous crops. It has the functions of prevention, cure and eradication, with systemicity and conductivity. As the 15th member of BASF’s AgCelence family, Priaxor is distinctively competitive in respect of plant health management and key disease control.
BASF and Tianhe have cooperated for more than 20 years. Priaxor is another of BASF’s strategic products delegated to Tianhe for distribution. Both sides hoped that the signing of the strategic agreement will result in closer cooperation between them. Going forward, they are prepared to have more in-depth discussions, with regard to the mechanism of cooperation which is expected to enable effective mutual cooperation, making both companies stronger.
The two sides also expressed a wish to further develop the field crop market while deepening the economic crop market, to deliver the world's advanced plant protection technology and products to more Chinese farmers, which is a joint contribution towards the sustainable development of Chinese agriculture and China’s rural revitalization initiative.
