◆ Advanta India, a Hyderabad-based listed seed marketing company, acquired Texas-based Crosbyton Seed Company (CSC).

Agrium Retail purchased the crop protection business of Miles Farm Supply of Owensboro, KY.
◆
Agrium Inc. acquired 24 retail farm centers in Argentina from DuPont Crop Protection, as well as its world-class crop protection formulation facility in Casilda, Argentina.
◆ AMVAC Chemical acquired a global product line relating to the active ingredient tebupirimfos (sold in the United States under the trade name Aztec) from
Bayer CropScience.
◆ AMVAC Chemical acquired
ethoprophos (sold under the trade name Mocap) and
fenamiphos (sold under the trade name Nemacur) insecticide product lines from
Bayer CropScience, LLC.
◆ AMVAC Chemical and Kanesho Soil Treatment completed agreements with
Certis-USA regarding the crop protection product Basamid® (dazomet) under which AMVAC will become the exclusive distributor and registration holder for this granular soil fumigant in the United States. D, which has been marketing the product under a distribution agreement with Kanesho Soil Treatment, will continue to market Basamid into non-food crop applications under a distribution agreement with AMVAC.
◆ Arysta LifeScience South Africa acquired selected assets of Tsunami Plant Protection and the business and selected assets of Tsunami Crop Care.
◆ Arysta LifeScience signed an agreement with Asahi Chemicals Mfg. (Japan) to distribute and market nitrophenol-based plant growth regulator Atonik in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
◆ Arysta LifeScience North America announced an agreement with
Syngenta Crop Protection to purchase Clodinafop, one of the best Group 1 herbicides available today. Under this agreement,
Syngenta Crop Protection will supply Clodinafop 60EC, the formulation in
Syngenta Discover® NG herbicide, to be marketed by Arysta LifeScience as NextStep™ NG.
