CAC Nantong Chemical’s subsidiary to invest in trifloxystrobin technical and prothioconazole technical production

In July 2020, China’s Jiangxi Tianyu Chemical Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CAC Nantong Chemical Co. Ltd, publicized on the website its environmental impact assessment report pertaining to the annual 2,000-ton trifloxystrobin technical and annual 2,000-ton prothioconazole technical production project.

The project is located in the existing plant area of Jiangxi Tianyu Chemical Industry Ltd within Jiangxi Xingan Salt Industry Park, the project is an extension to the existing capacity. The total investment of the project is Yuan109 million, including a one-off pollution control-oriented investment of Yuan7.95 million, accounting for 7.29% of the total investment.

Jiangxi Tianyu Chemical Ltd currently has an annual production capacity of 40,000 tons of 2,4-D and its series. According to the company, after the project is put into operation, the existing production capacity and product range of the company will be increased, which will enhance the core competitiveness of the company. This will help the company realize its strategic development goal and achieve better economic benefits.
