PMFAI views on Pesticides Review System Comparisons

Pesticides Manufacturers & Formulators Association of India (PMFAI) is a National Association representing Agrochemical/Pesticide Industry with more than 200 large, medium and small-scale companies as its members from all over India.

 

As the country is aiming to be self-reliant and achieve vision of “Make in India”, PMFAI has appealed to Government of India to re-visit the review process by high powered scientific committee.

Attached are the Pesticide Review System Comparisons between US EPA, EU EFSA and India Review, prepared by PMFAI.

As can be observed, attached comparisons clearly shows the flaws in Pesticide Review Process in India, which requires to be corrected.
