On June 23, the second-generation neonicotinoid insecticides thiamethoxam technical and clothianidin technical project, which has been implemented by Shandong Hailir, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hailir Group, was completed following the equipment installation and commissioning, and was put under trial production a few days ago. The project covers annual production of 2,000 tons of thiamethoxam and 1,000 tons of clothianidin.
Thiamethoxam is a second-generation neonicotinoid insecticide which is highly efficient and low toxic, to be used in prevention and control of lepidoptera, coleoptera and thysanoptera pests; clothianidin is a second-generation neonicotinoid insecticide which is of high efficiency, high safety and high selectivity, being active on contact toxicity and stomach toxicity with systemicity.
Hailir says that the completion and operation of the above project will be facilitate diversification of the pesticide technical varieties of the company, this falls in line with the company’s strategic business planning.
