On 9th May, 2020, Weifang Xinlu Chemical, a subsidiary of Chinese agrochemical company, Shandong Luba Chemical, announced a second public notification regarding the environmental impact assessment of its project to annually produce 30,000-tons of hydroxylamine hydrochloride/hydroxylamine sulphate, 3,000-tons of trichlopyr, and 300-tons of anilofos (innovation commercialization).
The total investment in the project is Yuan380.53 million, and it is located in the Weifang Binhai Chemical Industrial Park, Weifang City, Shandong Province. In addition to its new-build hydroxylamine hydrochloride/hydroxylamine sulphate production lines based on the by-product, hydrochloric acid, used as a raw material, a new set of 3,000-ton trichlopyr line and 300-ton anilofos production line will be built, to produce 24,000 tons of hydroxylamine hydrochloride, 6,000 tons of hydroxylamine sulfate, 3,000 tons of trichlopyr and 300 tons of anilofos annually.
The proposed productions will not only cover the pesticide intermediates, hydroxylamine hydrochloride and hydroxylamine sulfate, but will also include pesticide technical. The project is scheduled to start in October 2020, to be completed and start operating by the end of October 2021.
