Inspection on safety started in chemical manufacturing enterprises in 18 provinces in China

By Think Real - In May 2020, it is announced in the notice issued by Office of the State Council Work Safety Committee and Ministry of Emergency Management that as June of this year is the 19th national “Safe Production Month”, the Office of the State Council Work Safety Committee and Ministry of Emergency Management will carry out national “Safe Production Month” activity so as to effectively prevent major accidents from happening.

 

In order to respond to the requirement of the State Council, 18 provinces, including Shandong and Jiangsu disclosed their deployment and arrangement for the notice in succession, and started inspection on safety in dangerous chemicals and other industries.

 

Shandong Province: focus is placed on inspecting such key industries and fields as dangerous chemicals, mining, metal smelting, and ammonia-related refrigeration immediately till 30 June, 2020.

 

Jiangsu Province: inspection is mainly carried out in large petrochemical bases, crude oil reserves, and other enterprises listed into major sources of dangerous chemicals immediately till 30 June, 2020.

 

Zhejiang Province: inspection is performed in hazardous chemicals storage areas and storage warehouses immediately till 30 June, 2020.
