ADAMA launches insecticide Plethora in Brazil

One of the largest global agribusiness holding companies, ADAMA recently obtained registration for the insecticide, Plethora (Novaluron+Indoxacarb), an innovative and differentiated multi-culture solution developed to combat caterpillar complexes, such as the Chrysodexis includens, Spodoptera frugiperda and Helicoverpa armigera.

In addition, the solution is also effective in combating Hypothenemus hampei and Leucoptera coffeella, simultaneously. The new insecticide, which has a broad spectrum of control, is registered for coffee, cotton and soybean crops.

According to Fabrício Pacheco (Product Manager at ADAMA), Plethora’s exclusive combination of molecules guarantee a fast effect, with prolonged residual and effective control against different types of caterpillars, mainly Helicoverpa and Chrysodeixis. “The Helicoverpa caterpillar is responsible for countless losses in Brazilian crops, mainly soybean, corn and cotton. Plethora is a very functional insecticide in the different stages of action against these caterpillars. With its rapid effect during application and broad spectrum of control, the product quickly stops the action and feeding of the caterpillars,” he explained.

Plethora's technical features, such as its effectiveness in controlling various external agents, long residual effect, and multicultural application with the same consistency of results and ease of application as it is a ready formula offers producers greater productivity and agricultural gains.

Plethora is another solution developed by ADAMA that aims to meet the needs of farmers. As part of its efforts to bring simplicity to agriculture, the company launched, last week, a new slogan for its global brand, “Listen> Learn> Deliver.” The company, which used the slogan, “Simply.
