Expansion of the uses of T34 Biocontrol: New authorization in Canada

The Canadian Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) has approved the use of the fungicide T34 Biocontrol (Trichoderma asperellum, strain T34 ) for new greenhouse crops in Canada.
T34 Biocontrol is now authorized for the following crops and diseases:
– Strawberries against Fusarium oxysporum, Pythium aphanidermatum and Phytophthora cactorum.
– Solanaceae (tomatoes, peppers and aubergines) against Fusarium oxysporum, Pythium aphanidermatum and Phytophthora capsici.
– Cucurbits (cucumber, melon, watermelon, squash …) against Fusarium oxysporum, Pythium aphanidermatum, Phytophthora capsici and Didymella bryoniae.
– Cannabis against Fusarium oxysporum and Pythium aphanidermatum.
– Greenhouse vegetable seedlings
Greenhouse vegetable seedlings of: cucurbit vegetables, lettuces, spinach, swiss chard, celery, bean, pea, onion, garlic, brassica leafy vegetables (CG5), tomato, pepper, and strawberry against Fusarium oxysporum and Pythium aphanidermatum.
Greenhouse vegetable seedlings of: cucurbit vegetables, bean, tomato, pepper, and eggplant against Phytophthora capsici.
