Corteva’s new herbicide Loyant granted emergency registration for rice in Spain

Corteva Agriscience is offering farmers the new and innovative herbicide, Loyant
®, a post-emergency product for rice cultivation, due to an exceptional registration granted for the 2020 campaign, in accordance with Article 53 of Regulation (EU) 1107/2009.
Loyant
® is the first formulation developed by Corteva Agriscience based on the active substance, Rinskor™ active (florpyrauxifen-benzyl), a member of the new arylpicolinate chemical family that offers a novel and alternative mode of action for controlling broadleaf, sedge and grass weeds in rice cultivation.
Therefore, weed control programs that include resistant species and are based on Rinskor ™ active will help protect crops and make them more profitable. With its wide spectrum of action, high flexibility of use, and favorable effects on the environment, Loyant
® is an indispensable tool for improving plantations in a sustainable way.
