Annual 1000-ton acetamiprid project started in Lanzhou, China
In July last year, Lanzhou New District’s Chemical Industrial Park executed a number of chemical projects with enterprises at a business conference, including the annual 11500-ton pesticide intermediate project with an investment of Yuan400 million yuan. So far, the first phase of the pesticide intermediate subproject has started a trial run with fed materials, which, after completion will produce annually 1000 tons of the high-efficient and low toxic pesticide acetamiprid and other intermediates.
The annual 11500-ton pesticide intermediate project is invested and built by Lanzhou Chemspec Chemical Ltd, which is a subsidiary of Shanghai Chemspec Corporation - a high-tech enterprise engaged in research, production and marketing services. The business scope of the company includes research, pilot production and mass production of electronic materials, crude materials and APIs. At present, hundreds of independently developed products have been put into industrial production, where its developed organic fluorine-containing advanced intermediates have reached international advanced level.
The construction period of the 11500-ton pesticide intermediate project is 2 years. After completion of the project, the plant is expected to achieve annual sales of over Yuan500 million, tax contribution of Yuan35.6 million and net profit of Yuan65.93 million.
The first phase of the project covers an area of about 16 hectares, with a gross floor area of 70000m2 for production of 7000 tons of pesticide technical and pharmaceutical intermediates, including 150 tons of N6395, 3000 tons of CCMP, 1500 tons of acetamiprid and 1500 tons of N-Cyanomethanimidic acid ethyl ester.
