After opening a herbicide plant and a state-of-the-art laboratory while focusing on innovative projects, Albaugh announced the opening of five new distribution centers (CDs) in Brazil, to expand its participation in the Brazilian agrochemical market and enable farmers to access its technologies.
According to Albaugh, a company that specializes in post-patent agrochemicals, also called “generics” in Brazil, the new CDs are located in the cities of Hortolândia in the state of São Paulo, Carazinho in Rio Grande do Sul, Ibiporã in Paraná, Rondonópolis in Mato Grosso, and Luís Eduardo Magalhães in Bahia.
Henrique Falqueiro (Supply Director at Albaugh) pointed out that the new storage and distribution units will reinforce the strategic tripod that anchors the company's operations. “We are providing fast and effective customer service, offering a wide portfolio of high-quality products, and delivering a favorable cost-benefit relationship to farmers,” Falqueiro said.
Falqueiro added that Albaugh produces its line of agrochemicals in its own state-of-the-art industrial unit in the city of Resende in the state of Rio de Janeiro. “We have invested heavily to make the Albaugh brand the first alternative for Brazilian farmers in the face of so-called specialties,” Falqueiro stressed.
According to Reginaldo Sene (Marketing Director of Albaugh Brasil), the company will be even more competitive after the adoption of this distribution structure, adding that the opening of the CDs is also linked to expanding the brand's technology portfolio. “Albaugh's goal is to launch at least 20 products in Brazil this year,” Sene said.
Albaugh recently inaugurated a new plant for formulating products within its industrial unit in Resende (RJ). Operating in Brazil for three years, the company also launched a new state-of-the-art innovation
laboratory, to modernize formulations and develop customized solutions for the field.
