CAC 2020 postponed due to novel Coronavirus in China, but business should continue

The 21 st China International Agrochemical and Crop Protection Exhibition (CAC 2020), originally scheduled to be held on 24-26 February, 2020 in Shanghai New International Expo Centre, has been postponed due to the spread of the novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) in China. Chinese government has initiated the first-level response mechanism for major public health emergencies, and abolished all types of large-scale public activities. The new date will be announced as soon as it is determined.
 

Many exhibitors and visitors of CAC, who are also AgroPages’ readers, asked us a lot these days about the developments on this matter in China and how will this epidemic situation affect the business between Chinese suppliers and overseas partners. In a survey conducted by AgroPages, we learned that enterprises manufacture bulk agrochemical products such like glyphosate, glufosinate and other mainstream agrochemical products are mostly in normal production during the Spring Festival Holiday.
