But others are of the opinion that the industry has a bright future and its development will provide new opportunities which brought by the great changes in the industry.

Keyword 1: Doing business with China
In 2019, governments from around the world tightened their regulatory policies on chemical pesticides, causing changes to the future pesticide application structure. Although biopesticides make up less than 10% of the global crop protection market, the biopesticide market is growing at 14% to 17% annually, which is much higher than the traditional chemical sector. The growing demand from consumers for residue-free produces and the need for environmental protection have also boosted the biopesticide market. Coping with the market’s challenges, the availability of new technologies that reduce product costs, simplified application and increased efficiency have popularized these products among farmers.
