Bayer's Delaro label expands on key corn and soybean diseases
Date:12-23-2019
Bayer's Delaro 325 SC fungicide has received EPA approval to be labeled for the control of tar spot disease in corn and suppression of white mold in soybeans.
This is especially exciting because these diseases can cause major yield loss. In fact, tar spot not only eats away at healthy green leaf tissue in infected corn plants, which can lead to increased lodging, but it can also cause a loss of up to 30-40 bushels per acre. For soybeans, white mold can wreak havoc on fields, reducing yield by up to 50%.
With this updated label approval, famers have another way to protect the health of the crops and continually raise the bar on yield, season after season. And as always, Delaro will continue to offer two heavy-hitting modes of action and long-lasting residual control so you can count on it throughout the season.
