Yangnong Chemical to stop production on 20th Dec for relocation to Lianyungang
Date:12-19-2019
On 20th December, 2019, the Baotawan plant of
Yangnong Chemical will shut down for relocation in China. The company’s existing production facilities will also move out and its headquarters will become its management head office, marketing center, financial center, and research and design center.
The company’s production plant will be relocated to the new area of Xuwei in Lianyungang, the first phase of which will be funded by a total investment of around Yuan4 billion.
Since the launch of China’s reforms and policy of openness, and due to its ongoing urbanization, the location of Yangnong Chemical, which used to be on the outskirts of the city, will move to a more central area. Yangnong Chemical strictly observes work safety regulations and monitors the industry deployment requirements of the municipal government, to transfer from the ancient canal riverside to a major urban area, which reflects its social responsibility to urban safety and social development.
In recent years, the city of Yangzhou has prioritized pollution control and work safety in the chemical industry, and small chemical works are being shut down while chemical enterprises in urban areas are being relocated to chemical industrial parks. The shutdown and relocation of the Baotawan plant of Yangnong Chemical is an example of this.
