China stops imposition of anti-dumping duties on imported pyridine originating from India and Japan on 21st November

On 21st November, China ended the imposition of anti-dumping duties on imported pyridine originating from India and Japan, according to a recent announcement by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce on the final review of an anti-dumping investigation on imported pyridine originating from the two countries.
On 20th November, 2013, the Ministry of Commerce decided to impose an anti-dumping duty on pyridine imported from India and Japan for a period of five years, effective from 21st November, 2013.
On 5th February, 2016, the investigating authority issued Announcement No.1 for 2016, which stipulated an adjustment to the anti-dumping tax rate applicable to Jubilant LifeScience Limited.
On 20th November, 2018, upon an application by the Chinese pyridine industry, the investigating authority issued Announcement No.75 for 2018 stipulating that on 21st November, 2018, it will conduct a final review of the anti-dumping measures applicable to imported pyridine originating from India and Japan. On 7th November, 2019, it submitted another application to the investigating authority to revoke the final review application and requested the authority to terminate the related final review.
The authority subsequently decided to terminate the anti-dumping final review, as well as the anti-dumping measures on products under investigation as of 20th November, 2019. From 21st November, 2019, no anti-dumping duties on imported pyridine originating from India and Japan will be imposed.
