DJI unveiled its latest crop protection drone, the DJI T20, at a product launch in Shenzhen, south China’s Guangdong Province.
This agricultural drone system features upgraded barrier radar, a cooler battery, and a larger spraying capacity.
The DJI T20 drone is equipped with an omnidirectional obstacle-avoidance radar, enabling it to identify obstacles in farmland areas and overcome obstacles posed by both ambient light and dust. It operates at a fixed flight altitude, with a real-time night searchlight and image-monitoring system.
This system is capable of covering about 0.046 square miles per hour. According to Chen Tao, DJI agriculture sales director, via China.org.cn, the distance is “up 20 percent compared to the former generation.”
The price of the DJI T20 is $4,288, $286 less than the Agras T16.
