Ihara announces registration of new molecule in Brazil

The Brazilian pesticide company, Ihara, has announced that it has obtained the exclusive registration for Dinotefuran in Brazil, which, according to the company, is the basis for insecticides considered to be highly controlling. 

 

In a statement, the company said that the molecule will be used in a new line of products for pest management across various crops, including soybean, sugarcane and coffee.

 

Among the products launched include those against whitefly and bedbugs in soybeans, in addition to the leafhopper in sugarcane. There is also a defensive record focused on the control of coffee bugs and bugs. The new products are now part of a portfolio of over 60 solutions.

 

“The Brazilian farmer will have new technologies available, which, besides promoting efficient control for several important pests in various crops, will be a new option for resistance management,” said the company's Director of Marketing and Research and Development, Clayton Emanuel da Veiga, in the note released by the company.
