Nufarm’s new 2,4-D-based herbicide Weedar Full breaks into Argentine market

In Argentina, Nufarm has developed Weedar Full, a hormonal herbicide that combines two salts, based on the 2,4-D non-volatile amine.
During the previous Aapresid congress, Nufarm reaffirmed its commitment to Argentinian producers with Weedar Full, a hormonal herbicide based on the 2,4 D non-volatile amine, with an acid concentration of 70% for the control of broadleaf. It is an innovation created in Australia and developed in Argentina: Dual Salt Technology, which combines two kinds of high quality salts to give the active ingredient greater herbicidal power.
The advantages of this technology include a higher initial burn of weeds; a higher concentration of assets; acceleration in the absorption and translocation within the weed since the herbicide passes through the cuticle to the sap transport system; reduced foaming and high compatibility in tank mixing; no precipitation in hard water conditions and a decline in the probability of rain washing; and an improvement in the final control efficiency.
"In addition to standing out for its performance, high control effectiveness and speed of action, it stands out for its high compatibility, low volatility and possibility of being applied all year round, throughout the country. Additionally, the economic benefit per hectare makes Weedar Full the most convenient option in the market," said Lucas Díaz Panizza, Product Manager of Nufarm Argentina.
Nufarm's plan in Argentina
The general manager of Nufarm Argentina, Daniel Visintin, announced that they are already preparing new releases in the short term, some four new products. "We are working on our customers and continue to grow with the products we have. This year, we will launch four products that we have been working on in advance, but we reinforce what we have already launched. Whatever we do, we want to do it well."
