India CIBRC 400th meeting: Tolpyralate and Tetramethrin TC registrations got approved

The Indian Central Insecticides Board and Registration Committee (CIBRC) approved Tolpyralate and Tetramethrin TC registrations at the 400th meeting of the Registration Committee on April 23, 2019.

Details of the 2 TC products registration approvals:

- Sajjan India Ltd., registration of Tolpyralate Technical 96% w/w min. for manufacture for export only under section 9(3) export.

- Meghmani Organics Ltd., registration of Tetramethrin Technical 95% w/w min. for manufacture for export only under section 9(3).

In the meeting, the committee asked further actions for the following TC registration applications:

-an application of M/s Crystal Crop Protection Pvt. Ltd., for grant of registration for import of Metribuzin Technical 95% w/w min. (TI vs TIM) under section 9(3)

The committee also looked into some aspects of registration application to increase the efficiency, and discussed the issue of Fall Army Warm(FAW).

It was decided that the available multi-location data on bio-efficacy and/or residue (even for one season) for potential pesticides generated for FAW on maize under Indian conditions may be submitted by the Pesticide Associations/ industries to the Secretariat of CIB&RC.
