President Trump signs disaster aid package, will benefit ag industry

 

With President Trump's signature last Thursday, a long-awaited $19 billion disaster aid package cleared its final hurdle. The more than 70-page bill includes $600 million in nutrition assistance for Puerto Rico and $3 billion for farmers to help cover crop losses, as well as resources to repair infrastructure.
