The Iowa Soybean Research Center at Iowa State University recently announced Syngenta as its latest industry partner. In this role, Syngenta will have a seat on the ISRC’s industry advisory council, which advises the center on its research priorities.
“Syngenta is pleased to partner with the Iowa Soybean Research Center. We are very impressed with the breadth and importance of the projects presently being sponsored by the ISRC and look forward to seeing how their results improve and shape the productivity of the soybean industry,” said Stott Howard, Heartland Region crop protection field development head for Syngenta.
“We greatly appreciate Syngenta’s support of the center and the research we are conducting,” said Greg Tylka, director of the Iowa Soybean Research Center and a professor of plant pathology and microbiology at Iowa State. “Their input and feedback on Iowa State’s soybean research portfolio will be valuable.”
“We are excited to have Syngenta as an industry partner. By engaging with the Soybean Center, Syngenta will enhance collaboration efforts to meet the research and production information needs of Iowa soybean farmers,” said Ed Anderson, senior director of research for the Iowa Soybean Association and chair of the Iowa Soybean Research Center’s industry advisory council.
