Lier Chemical announced on 13th May that its wholly-owned Guang’an subsidiary had resumed the running of the annual 1,000-ton flumioxazin production line and auxiliaries. According to an earlier announcement on 5th January, Lier Guang’an already resumed pilot production of glufosinate-ammonium.
At present, the price of flumioxazin is quoted on the market at some Yuan600,000 per ton. In 2019, Lier Chemical’s’ annual 1,000-ton flumioxazin technical capacity is expected to bring considerable revenues to the company.
Lier Chemical disclosed on 15th October 2018 that the annual 1,000-ton flumioxazin technical and auxiliaries were brought into production, which was, however, suspended due to an accident. Resuming production is expected to generate plenty of income for the company in 2019. In addition, the balance of the 7,000-ton glufosinate-ammonium line at Guang’an is expected to be brought on stream in 2019. This glufosinate-ammonium production line operates on a Bayer process, which will help further reduce the cost of production.
Lier Chemical is currently accelerating the construction of its Guang’an production facilities. With the resumed running of the 1,000-ton flumioxazin capacity, a new income stream of Yuan400 million and a new profit center of Yuan60 million will be generated each year, when fully operational. Additionally, the annual 1,000-ton epoxiconazole is expected to generate new income of Yuan270 million and profits of Yuan50 million annually.
Lier Chemical will attend CPEW (China Pesticide Exporting Workshop) 2019, which will be held in July 4-5 in Hangzhou, China this year.
