Manfred Hudetz selected as new president of IVA (Germany)

Manfred Hudetz was selected as new president of the German agrochemical industry association, the IVA. He succeeds Dr. Helmut Schramm, Bayer AG, who has led the IVA since 2013.
Hudetz is an agronomist, has been managing the business of Syngenta Agro GmbH since 2014 and is responsible for Syngenta's Commercial Unit Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Previously, he worked for the company at various locations abroad, including the US, Brazil, Poland, the Baltic States and Russia.
There were also changes at the top of the IVA specialist areas Plant Protection and Plant Nutrition. Ursula Lüttmer-Ouazane, FMC Agricultural Solutions, has been elected as the new Chairman of the Plant Protection Division in Berlin. In this capacity, she succeeds Michael Hess, BASF SE. Hans-Jürgen Müller, K + S AG, was elected by the General Assembly of the IVA as the new Chairman of the Department of Plant Nutrition. He succeeds Ulrich Foth, EuroChem Agro GmbH. There was no change in the third IVA Department of Biostimulants; Chairman is here next Jörn-Fried Johannsen, BASF SE.
The IVA represents the interests of the agrochemical industry in Germany. The business units of the 56 member companies include crop protection, plant nutrition, biostimulants and pest control. The industry represented by the IVA stands for innovative products for modern and sustainable agriculture.
