Date:05-09-2019
Tradecorp registered its new product, Boltex C, which is a mixture of metalaxyl-M and copper hydroxide that can be used to treat mildew in tomatoes.
The new fungicide was created in response to the need of crop-processing industries for crop-protecting chemicals.
Boltex C combines the effectiveness of its two active ingredients and can be used on a wide variety of crops, including potatoes, eggplant and tomatoes. It is also the latest product belonging to a series of products based on metalaxyl-M.
Due to its qualities, the product was recently presented in the city of Medellín to numerous distributors and agricultural technicians from the tomato industry.
Hugo Soares, Marketing Director of Tradecorp Fitosanitarios, said, “This is an important achievement for us and our farmers, as it will enable them to control mildew and other weeds. It will also enable them to meet the demands of their customers, the industrial tomato processing and canning industries. We are the first European company to register this composition and product.”
