Hailir launches phase 1 of 6,700-ton insecticide technical project

Hailir announced the launch of phase 1 of its annual 6,700-ton insecticide technical project, based in the Port Industrial Park in the Weifang Coastal Development Zone, Shandong Province.
The project will include the launch of a related workshop and the construction of a raw material storage area and a circulation water tank while services related to waste gas treatment, power, transformer housing, waste water treatment, hazardous waste storage and an accident pool will be provided by the park’s existing facilities. Once the project is completed, the company will have a new production capacity of 2,000 tons of thiamethoxam, 1,000 tons of clothianidin, 500 tons of pymetrozine and 200 tons of fosthiazate.
According to its latest business report, Hailir recorded a gross profit of Yuan 85 to 172 million in 2018, which is expected to rise by 30% to 60% annually. The company’s net profit after deducting costs was Yuan 81 to 162 million.
