Argentine seed company Satus Ager to acquire Tecnoseeds

Argentine seed company Satus Ager signed an agreement to acquire Tecnoseeds Argentina and Brazil.
The initiative was made with the contribution of its partners: Remington Seeds and Victoria Capital Partners ("VCP"). In this way, the company enters the Brazilian market with the objective of increasing its regional presence and reinforcing its potential in the provision of services.
Founded in 1996, Satus Ager, headquartered in Buenos Aires, with operations in Argentina, Chile, Mexico and Uruguay, is the largest seed production, processing and export service provider in the Southern Hemisphere.
With this investment, Remington Seeds confirms its willingness to expand the activities of Satus Ager in the Southern Hemisphere. Remington Seeds and its regional partners expand the range of services and systems that provide solutions in the production, processing and distribution of seeds in multiple crops throughout North America, Latin America, Europe and Eastern Europe.
Victoria Capital Partners is an independent private equity firm. With more than 20 years of experience, VCP has invested more than US$ 1,800 million in private companies with growth potential in the main markets of South America.

Satus Ager S.A was founded in 1996 to provide quality corn seed production services to customers in northern hemisphere and local markets. Their growing areas are situated in the best agricultural area of Argentina. Since its establishment, our company has experienced ongoing growth, expanding production services to soybean, sunflower and sorghum seed. We have two conditioning facilities, located in Salto and Arrecifes (province of Buenos Aires), and one research station in Ines Indart (province of Buenos Aires).
