Syngentas fungicide Fubol Gold gets SOLA

Soft fruit growers can now use Syngetas fungicide Fubol Gold WG on their crops thanks to a new specific off-label approval (SOLA) gained by the Horticultural Development Company (HDC).

They are being reminded by the HDC that the product should be applied using a minimum water volume of 250 litres per hectare.

Growers should also apply the product using conventional hydraulic sprayers - including air-assisted sprayers, handheld equipment and gantry systems.

The plants should not be treated when there is fruit present. Any fruit harvested within 12 months of treatment must be destroyed.
