FMC announces key appointments for agricultural products innovation and strategic marketing

FMC Corporation’s Agricultural
products Group announced the appointment of two key leaders who will further the group’s growth strategy. Duncan Aust, Ph.D., has been named Global Innovation director,
FMC Agricultural
products, and Mariola Kopcinski, Ph.D., has been appointed director of Global Strategic Marketing,
FMC Agricultural
products.

FMC’s growth strategy is to continue to create
products through internal innovation coupled with product and technology alliances and acquisitions,” said Milton Steele, vice president and general manager,
FMC Agricultural
products. “We are very excited with the addition of Drs. Aust and Kopcinski, who will certainly elevate our ability to speed identification and commercialization of new
products and technologies for our customers.”
Dr. Aust, who joins
FMC from Healthpoint — a DFB Pharmaceuticals Company — will lead
FMC Agricultural
products’ core research and development organization based at
FMC Innovation Center in Ewing, N.J. Dr. Kopcinski, formerly with
Syngenta, will direct the
FMC Agricultural
products’ strategic marketing team in identifying, evaluating and implementing profitable growth opportunities. She will also be based at the
FMC Innovation Center in Ewing.
