AgriThority® appoints Fred Tennant as International Business Development Manager to lead business development for Asia

AgriThority®, an agricultural science consultancy specializing in accelerating new technologies to commercialization in markets around the world, announces Fred Tennant as International Business Development Manager to lead business development in India, China and other Asian markets.
Tennant has more than 30 years of experience in international business marketing and development, technology commercialization and consulting. He has a proven track record of supporting and growing agribusinesses in the global marketplace, from start-up enterprises and new venture-funded businesses to established corporate organizations. He is proficient in a broad range of agricultural technologies, including biostimulants, plant growth hormones, soil amendments and other specialty products.
As International Business Development Manager, Tennant will work with clients to grow their business and achieve objectives in global commercialization, product licensing and sales. He has a proven history of managing global operations, with emphasis in sales management, contract negotiation and government relations.

Tennant was previously President of Starhill Consulting where he served as the principal consultant for international agriculture products sales and marketing support. His experience includes work in key Asian markets of Japan, India and China. He has also held senior-level positions with Heliae Development and PetroAlgae, where he was responsible for business development, strategic planning, technology transfer, global licensing and sales.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in agriculture from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville and a master's degree in international business administration from U.S. International University in San Diego.
