Chinese agrochemical company
Hailir Pesticides and Chemicals Group has announced that its annual 2,000-ton prothioconazole technical and multi-functional production workshop, which was initially to be held in May 2019, has been rescheduled for December 2019.
In order to maintain the advanced level of product development, as well as to upgrade its research and testing techniques, Hailir plans to conduct optimized selections of research and lab equipment, based upon market developments, which will ensure a better use of available funds. To this end, the company chose to prolong the project for 7 months, allowing for the new December 2019 date.
According to the latest public notification on pesticide registrations issued by the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Hailir is going to become the first enterprises in China in possession of prothioconazole registration. Prothioconazole is a triazolethione fungicide discovered, developed and produced by Bayer. The product was launched to market in 2004, which has so far been made available in some 60 countries across the globe. Brazil, however, remains the largest market for prothioconazole.
