Dongfeng Chemical’s Botanical insecticide got first registration in China

Dongfeng Chemical, a Chinese biotical pesticides manufacturer, has been granted first regulatory approval for its botanical insecticide
celangulin by the Chinese Agriculture Ministry. The active ingredient, developed and provisionally registered by Dongfeng Chemical, is a botanical ingredient derived from Celastus angulatus. Without residuals and pollutions, the unique mode of paralyzing action on target pests has made it effective against several insect species. As the only manufacturer of Cleangulin and an undertaking unit of the National Torch Program projects, Dongfeng will be given a five year’s market access. Besides Australia and Vietnam, Dongfeng want to expand exports to more countries, an application was submitted to the UAE authority.
