Lier Crop Science granted registration of cuppric nonyl phenolsulfonate, first time used in powdery mildew

The registration of hexaconazole+cuppric nonyl phenolsulfonate 20% ME as filed by Sichuan
Lier Crop Science Ltd. was approved on July 24, and is to be used for the prevention and control of white gourd powdery mildew and ornamental rose powdery mildew.
This is a first-time registration of cuppric nonyl phenolsulfonate and hexaconazole for use in white gourd and ornamental rose, as well as of cuppric nonyl phenolsulfonate for the prevention and control of plant powdery mildew.
Cuppric nonyl phenolsulfonaten is a benzodiazepine organic copper fungicide. Its features include high efficiency, broad spectrum, low toxicity and low residues. It can be applied to a large variety of crops for the control of fungal and bacterial diseases.
Previous registrations include the cuppric nonyl phenolsulfonate 29% TC (total content of 92%) and single formulation (30% ME for control of cucumber downy mildew) of Xi’an Xiandai Science & Technology Ltd., the repackaging registration of Sichuan Guoguang Agrochemical Ltd., the registration of a cuppric nonyl phenolsulfonate mixture product of Shaanxi Sunger Road Bio-science Ltd and Shaanxi Meibang Pesticide Ltd.
