Rotam do Brasil announced the launch of the biostimulant, Yoduo in Brazil. According to the company, the product contains in its formulation micro-nutrients and amino-acids that aid the growth and improve the reproductive structure of several crops.
In soybeans, Yoduo saw an increase of over eight bags of 60 kilograms per hectare during a research conducted in the experimental farm of Rotam in Artur Nogueira in the state of São Paulo during the 2016/17 season. The product was evaluated as “easy and safe for the crop” and can be mixed with a majority of agrochemicals.
The biostimulants help in ensuring a more efficient photosynthesis, which supplies traditional energy to the plant. Through this stimulus, the plants get leaves and, consequently, can also achieve a better result, pointed out Rotam.
“The product was applied during the different phonological stages of soybeans and several evaluations of the plant were made, such as for instance, the fresh weight of the leaves, number of pods per parcel, in order to figure out the best moments and production gains,” highlighted Carlos Guarnieri, senior technician at the company’s experimental station.
“In terms of results, the highlight was the product Yoduo used at a dose of 0.3 L/ha in V5 and R1, where it saw 8.61 bags per hectare, better than its testimony, indicating the best moments of application,” added Guarnieri.
According to Lucas Ferreira, marketing coordinator of Rotam, after years of research and several internal and external works, including those done with recognized researchers and consultants in the sector, the product is presenting constant results in the increase of productivity, not only in the soybean crop, but also in other crops.
