Yangnong Group finishes 73% of 52 products to be relocated

Jiangsu Yangnong Chemical Group Co., Ltd. (Yangnong Group) revealed to the press that it had finished 73% of the 52 products to be relocated. In 2011, the Yangzhou City Government, Sinochem International Corporation and Yangnong Group signed a strategic cooperation deal to formally initiate the group’s action of “exit from the city and relocate into industrial park”.
After its product relocation, the headquarters economy of Yangnong Group will remain in Yangzhou. The company has confirmed the city as the center of its headquarters, management, marketing, finance, R&D and design. In the future, it will be involved in the development of high-performance materials and lithium battery materials.
As a matter of fact, Yangnong Group is an enterprise producing pesticides, chlor-alkali and fine chemicals. Its controlling subsidiary, Jiangsu Yangnong Chemical Co., Ltd., is the largest producer of pyrethroid insecticides in terms of scale in China, which was successfully listed in April 2002.
