Date:04-17-2018
Atticus announces the addition of three insecticides and two herbicides to its high-quality branded-generic corn and soybean portfolio, furthering its commitment to provide distributors and growers with relevant branded-generic fungicides, herbicides and insecticides for the U.S. row crop markets.
Atticus expands its insecticide lineup with the newly launched Serpent™ 1 EC (comparable to Karate®), a fast-acting lambda-cyhalothrin option for broad-spectrum insect control. Ruger™ 1 EC(comparable to Onager®) delivers 1 lb hexythiazox for full lifecycle control of spider mites and Decimite™(comparable to Comite® II) propargite solution quickly targets yield-robbing corn mites.
Joining the previously launched Cavallo™ 4 SC, a proven, reliable mesotrione-based selective herbicide, Atticus adds Stigmata™, a selective post-emergent herbicide that delivers excellent season-long control of the annual and perennial broadleaf weeds and woody brush that can infest crops including barley. Promote™ (comparable to Permit®), containing halosulfuron-methyl, has also been added and offers proven control of nutsedge and other broadleaf weeds without the damaging effects commonly left behind by other herbicides.
Mitch Klann, President, Row Crop and Professional Markets says, “Each Atticus brand is intended to provide a trusted, high-value alternative to relevant brand-name crop protection solutions. In a sea of off-patent sameness, distributors and growers deserve higher quality branded-generic solutions offered by Atticus.”
