Date:05-07-2018
Arable Capital Partners ("Arable") announced recently the acquisition of Hydratec, a Delano, CA full service irrigation company with a rich history of quality and customer service in central California.
Hydratec was established in 1981, and has played a major role in the advancement of micro-irrigation technology in the state of California. While Hydratec largely services tree and vine growers, there has been a significant increase in row crop customers due to a growing demand for drip irrigation systems. Hydratec services both small family farms and large corporate farming operations from the San Joaquin Valley to the east coast.
"We are very impressed with Hydratec's long standing customer base and commitment to service, which aligns well with our long-term investment horizon," said Arable Managing Director Derek Yurosek. "We are looking forward to working with Hydratec's management team to expand the Company's operations, and continue innovating in the irrigation space."
Arable is partnering with the Company's existing management team to maintain its customer focus and expand its existing offerings. Arable Capital Partners consists of a dynamic team with extensive experience in both private investments and agriculture.
"Hydratec looks forward to the opportunity to partner with Arable in our continued support of our customers," said Hydratec's President Bill Loflin. "We are committed to providing solutions for the ever changing agricultural community, as we have for the last 37 years."
"Our new partnership, and combined vision of long-term growth will give us the ability to continue being an industry leader for the next generation of farmers," said Hydratec's General Manager Chad Lilze. Hydratec maintains its reputation as a pioneer in micro-irrigation technology in California and continues to build strong, lasting client relationships.
"We are excited to have Hydratec as part of our portfolio. The team involved and the company's position in the irrigation sector makes for a winning combination positioned for growth," added Arable Managing Director Greg Richards.
