Arysta Lifescience's PH-D fungicide receives Florida label
Date:02-01-2018
Arysta LifeScience recently announced the registration in Florida for PH-D fungicide for control of Postbloom fruit drop (Colletotrichum acutatum) in citrus. PH-D is a FRAC Group 19 fungicide offering a much-needed alternative mode of action to manage this disease that negatively impacts fruit set.
"Postbloom fruit drop is a serious disease in citrus production," said David Davies, U.S. Fungicides & Herbicides Marketing Manager, Arysta LifeScience. "With its unique mode of action and FRAC Group 19 listing, PH-D offers growers an important new resistance management tool for control of the disease."
PH-D has proven to be an effective disease protection tool in many crops, including Florida strawberry production, and is an ideal fungicide for growers to incorporate into their disease management program.
PH-D also features a 4-hour re-entry interval (REI) and a zero-day pre-harvest interval (PHI).
"Arysta LifeScience recommends that growers apply PH-D as an initial bloom protection spray, and then rotate to fungicides with other modes of action as part of their resistance management strategy," said Richard Royal, Arysta LifeScience Technical Sales Specialist.
Arysta LifeScience is a leading provider of solutions for fruit crops. In citrus production, the company also markets VACCIPLANT, a stimulant of plant defense; MICROMITE Insecticide, which provides long residual control of harmful insect pests; and integrated pest management tools for control of mites, including KANEMITE Miticide.
