DSV UK to present new varieties in maize, oilseed rape and forage at LAMMA 2018

New varieties in maize, oilseed rape and forage will be joining the company’s established portfolio of wheat, OSR and cover crops on their stand at LAMMA 2018.
With the expanding maize portfolio, DSV have a maize for most situations.
Likeit is early maturing, suitable for forage and grain, with high dry matter yields and starch content.
Petroschka, the second new variety, is medium maturing for the forage market which is particularly suitable for rearing of livestock, with its excellent energy yield and disease resistance.
Bonfire is a high yielding forage rye that has fast autumn and spring vigour with excellent gas yields for the AD plants as well as being good feedstock for livestock.
The
TerraLife range continues to develop with three mixtures suitable for the vegetable growers – especially sugar beet and potatoes.
BetaSola is a mixture specifically for farmers with issues of nematodes in sugar beet, vegetable brassicas and carrots for several species of nematodes. For potato growers –
SolaRigol DT – is for intensive potato rotation. It shades the ground quickly, has strong network of roots to penetrate the soil and increase biodiversity.
BetaMaxx DT is designed for rotations with sugar beet to improve the soils crumb structure and organic matter, allowing direct drilling of cash crop.
