NAC Launches New SHUT DOWN™ Herbicide in Pakistan

NAC (NEW AGRI CARE) announced the launch of SHUT DOWN™in Pakistan, 29 Dec, 2017. Containing flucarbazone-sodium, SHUT DOWN™ is a new herbicide product for cross-spectrum control of both grasses and broadleaf weeds in wheat.
Narrow leaf weeds especially wild oats and green foxtail are rapid emerging problems for last few years. These weeds are resistant to conventional herbicides. But SHUT DOWN™ can also control those weeds which have developed resistance to ACCase (FRAC Group A) .
“These weeds can decrease wheat yields by 25 to 35 percent, depending on weed density”, said the company. The cross- spectrum weed control of SHUT DOWN™ will help maximize yields by controlling the resistant class weeds in Pakistan.
NAC is an importer of Agrochemicals & Fertilizer in Pakistan. The company has been focused on new chemistry products in Pakistan.
