Centor Oceania announces the appointment of Simon Watt as the company’s new General Manager. Simon’s appointment is key to the implementation of Centor Oceania’s strategy to gain further market share in the seed coating materials sector in both the domestic and international markets.
Having worked for Centor Oceania since its inception and within the seed treatment industry for more than 20 years, Simon brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the General Manager role.
Simon’s prime objective in this new role is to grow the reach of the business into new markets and expand the product range available to customers to encompass an ever more holistic seed technology enhancement offering.
Moreover, Simon will support the sales management teams developing strategies to improve the uptake of Centor Oceania’s increasing range of seed coating polymers, particularly the next generation of polymer products which have world class benefits and features.
Commenting on his appointment Simon said, “By utilising the output from continual development within the R&D arm of the business we aim to stay ahead of the competition in producing quality seed coating products. Not only this, we will also be providing technologies into the market from in-house development and from other members in the Centor group, through which we are able to market our products globally.”
“Drawing on my experience in seed applied materials, actives and beneficials, which in combination with a solid understanding of machinery and analytical equipment, will allow me to support our dedicated sales team promoting seed technology. During a time of relative turmoil in the seed coating industry Centor Oceania is looking forward to increasing its presence and providing a steady hand to our customers.”
