UPL launches Fascinate herbicide in Brazil
Date:06-23-2017
The Fascinate herbicide of UPL was registered in Brazil, and is a contact product that has glufosinate as an active ingredient, along with ammonium salt and a soluble concentrate formulation.
Fascinate helps in controlling resistant weeds and is registered for the crops of soybeans, corn, cotton, and kidney beans.
Fascinate acts on post-emergency of weeds in cotton and corn with a directed spray on the desiccation of kidney beans and soybeans. It can also be used in the no-tillage system on cotton, corn, and soybeans. The recommendation is that it has a unique application done per crop cycle.
According to the Herbicides Manager of UPL, Luciano Zanotto, Fascinate has been shown to be effective in the control of two main weeds that are today resistant to glyphosate: the Horseweed (Conyza bonariensis) and the Sourgrass (Digitaria insularis).
