Summit Agro USA’s new fungicide PROLIVO available to grape growers
Date:04-27-2017
PROLIVO™ 300SC Fungicide from Summit Agro USA is now available for use in wine grapes, table grapes and raisins, to control Powdery Mildew in multiple ways.
First, Prolivo* provides excellent preventative disease control at the onset of the disease epidemic. In addition, with effective translaminar activity, Prolivo provides additional protection to the untreated side of the leaf. Finally, through redistribution on the leaf surface and vapor activity, Prolivo protects untreated leaf and fruit surfaces.
Used as a preventative treatment, Prolivo should be applied beginning with initial flowering or when disease conditions are favorable for disease development. The activity of Prolivo can be improved with the addition of an oganosilicant, non-ionic, or mixture adjuvant when used at the rates specified on the adjuvant label.
In addition to grapes, PROLIVO Fungicide is also registered for cucurbit vegetables (Crop Group 9), Caneberry Crop Subgroup 13-07A, Bushberry Crop Subgroup 13-07B, Small Fruit Vine Climbing Crop Subgroup 13-07D, and Low Growing Berry Crop Subgroup 13-07G, (except cranberry).
"Grape powdery mildew is one of the most significant diseases in terms of loss of quality and yield impacting growers today," says Jim Sturges, Summit Agro Regional Manager. "We're proud to provide grape growers with a powerful new tool to control this devastating disease."
PROLIVO fungicide is distributed in the USA by Summit Agro USA LLC, and sold exclusively through Tenkoz member companies and Helena Chemical Company.
