The ISO Technical Committee on Common Names for Pesticides has provisionally approved 6 new active ingredient common names in March 2017, according to the Compendium of Pesticide Common Names (CPCN).
Acynonapyr is a novel acaricide from Nippon-Soda Co. Ltd, development code NA-89.
Alpha-bromadiolone is a coumarin rodenticide from Liphatech with a different isomeric composition from bromadiolone, development code LT2014.
Benzpyrimoxan is a novel insecticide from Nihon Nohyaku Co., Ltd, development code NNI-1501.
Fluindapyr is a pyrazolecarboxamide fungicide from Isagro S.p.A. and FMC Corporation, development codes IR 9792 and F9990.
Isoflucypram is a pyrazolecarboxamide fungicide from Bayer CropScience AG, development code BCS-CN88460.
Metcamifen is a herbicide safener from Syngenta Crop Protection AG, development code CGA246783.
