Lier Chemical realizes full production capacity of 5,000-ton glufosinate

Lier Chemical's first quarter report for 2017, which was released a few days ago, revealed income earnings of 530 million yuan, 12 percent up year-on-year. Besides this, it announced that the net profit attributable to shareholders was 58.22 million yuan, 47 percent up year-on-year.
The growth of business is mainly due to the realized full capacity production of 5,000-ton glufosinate technical, and the sales growth of major product varieties of the company.
Currently, Lier Chemical is the largest glufosinate manufacturer in China. In 2017, Lier Chemical planned a 10,000-ton glufosinate project in its Guang’an base, which has so far passed the environmental impact assessment. Once the project is completed and full capacity production is reached, Lier Chemical will become a world-class glufosinate supplier on par with Bayer CropScience.
