Monsanto plans to expand its unit in the city of Rojas, province of Buenos Aires, the major producing region in Argentina, in order to transform it into the biggest seed processing unit in the world. According to Farinati, Argentina is the third in importance of Monsanto in the world, just behind the United States and Brazil. “There is a very important growth potential. In 10 years, we see Argentina producing 180 million metric tons of grains. We have a motto that we call “180 is possible” and it is a strategy to produce more through technology, crop rotation and management,” said him to Clarín newspaper.
