Azotic Technologies appointed new R&D manager

Nick Gosman has joined Azotic Technologies as R&D Manager. He is responsible for managing the research, analysis and co-ordination of scientific information relevant to the development of Azotic’s strategy and policies. Nick will also lead a team of world class scientists working in our laboratories at BioCity in Nottingham.
Nick is an accomplished senior research scientist with over 25 years commercial plant breeding, academic and post-doctoral research experience. He was previously with Bayer CropScience as a Senior Programme Leader Crop Efficiency where he was responsible for a discovery pipeline to identify new genes and tech concepts for products in wheat. Nick was a Plant Breeder and Senior Scientist for NIAB where he helped develop NIAB’s pre-breeding initiative.
This is a positive appointment for Azotic and Nick will contribute to its overall strategy by developing, managing and implementing research projects. This is part of an ambitious research programme that will see the facility in Nottingham become a centre of excellence for Gluconacetobacter diazotrophicus (Gd).
