China exports 76,300 tonnes of glyphosate in Aug. 2016, soaring by 94.7%

By Think Real - According to statistics by Think Real, in Aug. 2016, China exported 76,300 tonnes of glyphosate in Aug. 2016, soaring by 94.7% year on year; the export value of the product was USD161.10 million, rising by 65.6%.
 
The export price of the mainstream glyphosate slipped in the month year on year. The average export price of 95% glyphosate technical was USD2.73/kg while it was USD3.23/kg in the same period last year.

In the month, 175 enterprises exported glyphosate products from China, 33 more than last year. The top five ones by export volume of the product included Fuhua Tongda Agro-chemical Technology Co., Ltd., Shandong Weifang Rainbow Chemical Co., Ltd., Nantong Jiangshan Agrochemical & Chemical Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Good Harvest-Weien Agrochemical Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Wynca Chemical Group Co., Ltd.
 
The products were exported to 82 countries and regions around the world, 3 less than that in the same period last year. The main export destinations were Brazil, Australia, Argentina, the US and Thailand. The top ten by export volume imported 56,800 tonnes of glyphosate from China, which valued USD128.0 million, accounting for 74.5% and 79.4% of the total respectively.
