Australia to approve Adama’s insecticide Cormoran

The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) has proposed to approve Adama Australia’s insecticide Cormoran [10% (w/v) novaluron + 8% (w/v) acetamiprid].
According to Adama, Cormoran is an emulsifiable concentrate insecticide with systemic, contact and stomach action as well as chitin inhibition for the control of pests in cotton and potatoes.
The proposed use for Cormoran by APVMA is for the control of apple dimpling bug, codling moth, light brown apple moth, longtailed mealybug, plague thrips and tuber mealybug in apples and pears.
Public comments for this approve will be closed on December 13, 2016.
